The Woman Behind the Chair
Built from Purpose
Angela Zanders is an Americus, Georgia native who found her calling in 1996. A young mother raising her son on her own, she made a choice that would shape the next three decades of her life: she enrolled in Albany School of Beauty to become a licensed cosmetologist.
Three years of training as an understudy gave her the foundation she needed. When she opened Strictly Business & Co Beauty Salon, she anchored it in two commitments that have never wavered: Education and Family. The salon became more than a place to get your hair done. It became a gathering place, a family space, a piece of the community.
Customer service, continuing education, and genuine relationships in the beauty industry have always been at the heart of what she does. Angela did not come from a business background. She had no formal training in branding, legal structure, or financial planning. That did not stop her from building something real, but it did push her to seek out what she was missing. In 2003, she went back to school to study business, completing two years before stepping away for ministry, a move, and expanding her family.
When she returned, she came back sharper. She restructured the brand under Angela Zanders Beauty, LLC and invested in advanced certifications: Nonsurgical Hair Loss Specialist, Certified Hair Loss Specialist, and Trichology studies. These credentials allowed her to serve clients dealing with hair loss in ways most salons simply cannot.

A Dream Takes Shape
As a young mother determined to build a future for herself and her son, Angela enrolled in Albany School of Beauty to pursue cosmetology. That decision set everything in motion.
Strictly Business Opens Its Doors
After three years of training as an understudy, Angela opened Strictly Business & Co Beauty Salon. From day one, the salon was built on two pillars: Education and Family.
Pursuing Business Knowledge
Recognizing that talent alone could not sustain growth, Angela enrolled in college to study business. She completed two years of coursework before stepping away for ministry, a relocation, and the arrival of more children.
"I Am Not My Hair" Launches
Angela created this seminar series dedicated to helping women overcome, recover from, and embrace life with and after hair loss. It became a source of healing for women across the community.
28+ Years and Growing
Now operating under Angela Zanders Beauty, LLC, the salon continues to serve clients and train the next generation of beauty professionals. The mission remains the same: education, family, and excellence.

In 2012, Angela launched this seminar series for women navigating the emotional and physical realities of hair loss. The sessions are built around three goals: helping women overcome the challenges of hair loss, supporting their recovery, and creating space for them to embrace life fully, whether their hair comes back or not.
It is personal work for Angela. Years of serving clients through their most vulnerable moments shaped this program into something that goes well beyond the salon chair.
